As the nights get longer and the days get rainy, it is time for me to leave the beautiful Basque country and head back to Zürich.
During my secondment at Graphenea, I met great people, learned a lot about the growth of 2D materials, especially graphene, had nice discussions, went for beautiful hikes and of course tried my best at surfing. Graphenea provided me with various samples grown on different substrates and I tried different dry transfer methods to fabricate samples for electronic measurements. Working in close collaboration with the nanodevices group at nanoGUNE, I could use the techniques I learned in Zurich and apply and adapt them to the equipment available and provided in San Sebastian. Thank you to all for being such great hosts.
