This week I attended the 11th conference on quantum dots which virtually took place in Munich. We had a full programme with plenty of interesting talks. I think they made the best out of the virtual environment enabling discussions on small tables during the coffee breaks.
Nevertheless, I am looking forward to conferences taking place in person again. Although I will not complain about winning a poster prize for the latest results. A big thanks to my colleagues and especially Annika Kurzmann for collecting the data and Angelika Knothe for providing the theory.
