Secondment at Aalto

Last week I arrived in Finland, where I am staying for 4 weeks to work with Jukka Pekola's group. There I am getting familiar with low temperature measurements. So far with the help of Elsa and Randi (2 PhDs students) we are doing some tests measurements on this "new" fridge from Oxfords. I made some dc measurements on Coulomb Blockade Thermometers, which is a primary thermometer and acts as a calibration for the Ruthenium oxide thermometer at lower temperature (<50mK).

Last secondment started!!

Unfortunately it will be a "remote secondment", but I am really excited because we thought about an interesting project to collaborate again with the guys of Chalmers. I will soon ship some samples to
