Last week I arrived in Konstanz to begin the first secondment of my PhD. So far I have enjoyed settling into the city and my surrogate research group here. I am looking forward to learning from researchers here about quantum transport, and in particular about the Keldysh formalism for solving non-equilibrium problems.
In the meantime, we await the arrival of all members of the QuESTech program for our second training and supervisory board meeting.
