In November 2020, Prof. Courtois trained me on our UHV e-beam evaporator for evaporating Nb and Si on Sapphire substrate. Ever since I received the training, I have used it many times and fabricated many Nb-based devices.
Here are some photos I took while I was using the UHV evaporator for fabricating a new batch of Nb squids devices for our colleagues in Bordeaux a few days ago.
