Small detour of enjoyment and expedition to Paris just before summer school 2019 with Rishabh, David and Ananthu. We visited Louvre, Palace de Versailles, Orsay, Eiffel tower, Pantheon, Centre Pompidou, Aquarium de Paris Cinéaqua and Gourmet Chocolate Museum. It was an amazing experience walking around fashion and art capital of France. In the end we visited Marie Curie and left a small token of respect (a chocolate with the shape of heart, which Rishabh bought in advance without our knowledge) for her contribution in the field of science. Enjoy the attached images below. Cheers!
Top left you see a beautiful flower made of chocolate, then the famous Mona Lisa, Jellyfish from Aquarium de Paris Cinéaqua. In the bottom row you can see mesmerizing art work by French sculptor Auguste Rodin, then Royal Opera of Versailles.
Top left you see Aurore, Beautiful work by Denys Puech, then Pantheon, our beloved Marie Curie and then an art work by Eugène Delacroix-Liberty leading the people, in the end Arc de Triomphe.
