I have done my secondment at AALTO University with Pekola's (PICO) group. I started my collaboration with ESR Bayan Karimi and Professor Jukka Pekola. I have started studying the proximity effect and the charge and heat transport in superconductor-normal metal (SN) contacts in order to model an ultra-sensitive thermometer.
The work is being done in the framework of the quasiclassical Green's function approach in the dirty limit (The Usadel formalism). I concentrate on the quasiparticle current as well as the supercurrent.
