Today I started my 2nd secondment, this time at attocube in Munich. In the next two months I will be optimizing the vibration damping of their cryogenic Scanning Nearfield Optical Microscope (SNOM). An efficient vibration damping is a crucial part of any scanning probe microscope, also for my AFM/STM in Grenoble.
