On March 1, I arrived in Dortmund to continue my secondment at Raith for the second time. I was very lucky, because there was an opportunity to attend LTC - Electron Beam Lithography Training Course here at Raith based on suggestion by Dr. Guido Piaszenski and Dr. Axel Rudzinski. The course consisted of 6 half day sessions including theory and experiment. The theoretical background was about Scanning Electron Microscopy, Electron Beam Lithography and Raith’s systems and software. It was followed by 4 training sessions, which are two offline sessions for software training and two sessions at EBL systems for exposure training. We also had a chance to visit Zeche Zollern (Coal Mine). Dr. Axel Rudzinski was the trainer for the course and at the end of the course I got my certificate (see the photo below). Participants were main users of Raith’s instruments from different countries within Europe. It was nice to discuss with them about many things including our scientific careers and projects and Coronavirus…..
