New transfer system installed

Last week was pretty busy in nanoGUNE as a new transfer system for exfoliated 2D materials was installed. ESR Franz Herling is going to use it for the stacking of van der Waals heterostructures, e.g. transition metal dichalcogenides on graphene. To preserve especially delicate materials like topological insulators, the whole setup is placed in a glove box with an Argon atmosphere. The first tests were very promising and the successful installation is another step towards the milestones of work package 3.
