Last week, I started my first secondment for the QuESTech project at Raith in Dortmund, Germany. Here, I will receive training in electron beam lithography techniques including software methods for proximity effect correction. Additionally, I try to pick up some tips and tricks for the daily use of our electron beam lithography systems back at nanoGUNE. Finally, I hope there will also be some time to view a football game in the famous stadium and visit a real German christmas market.
